About

MZ in NYMZ is in her final year at the National University of Singapore School of Business, majoring in Finance. She just returned from exchange during the Spring 2007 semester at the University of Southern California in LA .

She looks forward to a challenging, exciting and rewarding career somewhere not in the banking industry and is considering switching to a Marketing major instead, since she has discovered some talent in projects and events consulting and management.

Besides endeavouring to produce good results (not necessarily in the academic sense) in school, MZ enjoys participating and serving in the Varsity Christian Fellowship and in Bethany Evangelical Free Church. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour just before she turned 14 and has never regretted it since. Baptised just before her 20th birthday in 2005, MZ is thankful for the people who have blessed her along the way with their encouragement, prayers, teaching, correcting and edification in the ways of God, and hopes she will be able to do the same for others.

Spending time with friends and loved ones is something that MZ treasures, as are bathtimes, mealtimes and quiet times, which do not come by often these days. She loves to eat good food and see (and try) new things. She loves the outdoors (when the weather is nice) and yearns to go back to the States where there is so much hiking and seeing to be done in beautiful weather (or just any other nice-weather-many-things-to-see-place la). Trying to pick up tennis, MZ ventures out occasionally for some endorphins when the inertia is not too great, or else she just jumps around in her room like a madwoman to get high.

hebrews 12:1-3

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
